In everyday life, decision making is a common task for the human being. From something simple like getting up early and choosing what to eat for breakfast, even more complex decisions like choosing a profession, making the best investment of your money, having a child or not, etc. For every good decision we make, it is always necessary that we first know what is at stake and what we can lose or win, that is, we will have good choices if we are efficient in collecting all the data from the situation we are in, and, moreover, have efficiency in the analysis of these data.
Based on the previous conclusions, we can highlight a passage quoted in the lecture that shows the importance of these forecasts and analyzes:
"To think statistically will one day be for the efficient practice of citizenship, as necessary as the ability to read and write" (H.G. Wells).
That is, making more cautious decisions, analyzing everything around them and the consequences that such decisions will cause, makes the practice of the rights and duties of an individual better and better.
